A paper form filled out at the end of the training course is not sufficient!
Training assessment sheets filled out by the trainees during the course are often very biased. This bias is known as the "smile-effect". Moreover, it is necessary to wait a few
months after the course before being able to answer key questions that will be critical to evaluating training effectiveness, such as the actual implementation of the training course learnings.
Our goal is to collect information from the right person at the right time.
According to your needs, il is also possible to attach a learning test to your evaluations, in order to directly check the level of knowledge acquired by the trainees during the training course.
For each evaluation step, all the questionnaires share the same base for all training courses. Questions are added for specific training types and you can always include additional questions to take into account your training / company specifics.
Recent advances in education science and in psychology inspired the creation of the forMetris questionnaires. By optimizing the question wording, the structure of the questionnaires as well as general ergonomics, we made it possible to maximize both the response rate and the quality of gathered data.
The collection and analysis of training evaluations can be very tedious and time-consuming. Today, information technologies make it possible to automate these tasks.
A very easy to use Internet interface enables you to register training courses you want to evaluate, view the training reports, and follow the evaluations in progress. In addition, monitoring tools help you generate summary reports which give an overall view of your training courses.
After the registration of a training course, the evaluation process is fully managed by forMetris. The questionnaires are sent, collected, and analyzed through the ASP system. However, a fully automated system is not sufficient. A team constantly makes sure the process unwinds successfully, by handling namely the reminders, the e-mails and all the specific situations which can arise during the evaluation.
With our system, you will therefore have both the time and the means to focus on improving your training courses.
A reference database is crucial to give meaning to collected data. Indeed, we do not evaluate a management training course as we do a language or technical training course. How to know if one should be satisfied with an average result of 75/100 for the quality of the training content?
Our collaborative approach to training evaluations enables us to let you benefit from benchmark analyses. The data we gather from the evaluations carried out for our clients is anonymously mutualized. Therefore, with the help of our database which is gradually getting richer and richer, we are able to provide you with more and more pertinent and rich benchmark analyses.
By comparing the evaluation results with those from similar trainings (same topic, same trainee profile, same language...), we make it possible to provide a relevant interpretation of collected data and to identify improvement levers.
The forMetris system offers two types of benchmark analyses: an internal benchmark (i.e. comparison with your other training courses) and an external benchmark (a "market average").
You will receive a preliminary report shortly after the training course, and a complete evaluation report two to four months later. The preliminary report contains the results from the initial evaluation, and the complete report regroups the information from both the initial and the follow-up evaluation, by the trainees and by their managers.
A summary page presents you with a clear overview of training results by dimension, training strengths and weaknesses, as well as summary indices : impact for the company, perception by the trainees and a global assessment. These reports also contain, for all results, benchmark analyses from the forMetris database, in order to help you interpret the scores in a more pertinent manner.
For a more detailed analysis of the training course, the appendices include all the respondent comments structured by topic, the comparison with your evaluation history and the detailed assessments by question.

Periodically, a general overview report will give you a consolidated view of all the evaluations.
This overview summarizes all the evaluations, proposes improvement ideas, and helps you to identify excellent training programs and trainings that should be improved.
To be able to give their honest and full opinion, trainees need to have the guarantee that their answers will be processed anonymously.
Without this confidentiality commitment, trainees tend to sweeten their answers or not even mention the aspects that need to be improved according to them.
